It can be an ideal team building exercise for clubs, groups and even a great day out for corporate clients.

Situated in the heart of Kent, Merlin Balloons fly from Headcorn Aerodrome, Biddenden Vineyard, Hamstreet, Appledore, Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford and the NEW LAUNCH SITE for 2008 Aldington. The launch sites are selected to give the best flight path for any wind direction and for their stunning views of the picturesque countryside. Flights, which last approximately one hour, are scheduled mornings and evenings when the air conditions are most stable. The whole experience of such a balloon ride takes three to four hours.

On arrival for your balloon ride at the launch site you will be greeted by your Pilot and crew and introduced to your fellow passengers. Your hot air balloon will be prepared and inflated and as part of your adventure you will be invited to assist. When all the final checks have been made and you have been fully briefed on safety and landing positions, your hot air balloon will rise gently and majestically into the air.

The views are spectacular, passengers can often see the cliffs of France to the south-east or Canary Wharf/Thames estuary to the north, not to speak of the Kent and Sussex countryside underneath.
